"l initially got in touch with Sanam in my capacity as the President of the LSE SU India Society while organising the LSE SU India Forum. During my time collaborating with the NISAU team for the conference, I was brought on as the Head of Business Development. So I've had the chance of both being at the receiving end of the amazing work done by our team and at the execution end of some great projects. The NISAU team played an integral role in organising the conference and have also been a helping hand to India societies all around the UK. The setup we have here at NISAU forms the backbone of India societies, as well as, Indian Students all around the UK. I've personally had the opportunity to gain a lot of practical exposure as part of the NISAU team, when I was in the UK as well as when I returned to India. Organising events at the High Commission in London, collaborating with India societies around London, participating in the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2017. In all, NISAU played an integral role in enhancing my experience as a student in the UK and helping me explore the opportunities that London had to offer."

"Make the right choices, because you have only one life" said Chanakya. NISAU proved to be one of that right choice. Not only has NISAU given me an opportunity to work for nation building and helped me network with eminent personalities of India and the UK; but also shaped my career choice. The experience at NISAU made me "update" myself and learn new things on a continuous basis. The involvement in different dialogue-level interactions with various stakeholders of higher education and immigration in the UK made me aware of the art of diplomacy and policy making. This opened up the doors of foreign affairs and diplomacy for an outsider like me. The responsibility that was bestowed upon me evolved me from a political enthusiast to a student activist. This eventually made me make a move from Edinburgh to Sussex to transform myself from a science researcher to a science diplomat.

          Harshada Topale

"Living away from family, especially in a new country is never easy, but NISAU made it fairly easy for me by being with me in times of difficulty and joy, helping me adapt, connecting me to people and answering all my questions no matter how trivial they were. Being a part of NISAU has been a great experience for me as it not only allows me to contribute towards the student community but also presents an opportunity to interact with the policy makers, community leaders, entrepreneurs, etc. thus allowing for a continuous personal development. NISAU has presented me various opportunities to network, represent the student community, participate in events to which I wouldn't have had access otherwise and much more. These opportunities have honed my skills like networking, event management, creative writing, to name some. With all the empowerment and flexibility at NISAU, I think the possibilities are unlimited and the returns are exponential."

"My heart is filled with gratitude and thanksgiving as I write this email to you for the help and assistance you have offered to me. I and my family are ever grateful for the help and assistance you have offered me by taking up my case with the High Commission of India. Mr. Anil Nautiyal sir was extremely helpful and went out of this way to issue me my new passport in less than 24 hours. 10: 30 am I got my new Indian passport and by 11: 30 am I was able to get a visa replacement and recover all the documents I had lost and this was no less than a miracle. I cannot thank you enough for the help you have offered me and you have played a huge part in not allowing my admission to be cancelled and now because of your help and assistance, I am able to reach the university in time and start my PhD in time for which I worked very hard. I and my family join both our hands and with hearts filled with gratitude would like to once again thank the entire team for all your help, support and guidance."

"NISAU promises the ability to represent and to be represented as ambassadors of the brand name 'India' on the greater global platform of UK. As the legal head of NISAU my role requires me to spearhead legal formalities such as managing the charity registration, and issues student members face in areas of immigration or crime that we resolve by networking and liaising with dominant legal practitioners and authorised student bodies. As an aspiring solicitor, I can take pride at involving myself in these practical legal matters and engaging with influential magnates both in India and the UK, that has helped me build a strong foundation to my legal aspiration."

          Tasmay Oza

"l am so thankful to NISAU for handholding me and the entire Indian student community in UK during what was the most horrifying and terrible experience for us allmtrapped thousands of miles away from home in our little rooms and unable to go back home - if it weren't for NISAU I would have starved and suffered depression. Thank you!"

          Manu Sasidharan

"NISAU in it's journey has engaged with different stakeholders of education, culture and bilateral relationship between India and I-JK. We have in the past worked with I-JK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Conservative Party, London Mayor's Office, Indian High Commission to I-JK, Ministry of External Affairs of India, to name a few. We continue working closely with high profile offices, diplomats and policy makers with an aim of enhancing and empowering Young India. Our efforts saw NISAU being invited on behalf of voice of students, to attend Pravasi Bharathiya Divas 2017 held in Bengaluru. Our Team of enthusiastic students within the Policy and Partnerships department has worked relentlessly on awareness campaigns and research projects, helping students to make informed decisions on matters of importance."
